There are some writers whose books work better for me as an audiobook, and Aimee Nicole Walker is one of them. I'm not a huge fan of banter - while reading, a little goes a long way for me - but I have a higher tolerance for it when I'm listening to it. Especially when Joel Leslie is the one doing the reading. I've become a huge fan over the last couple of weeks (by the time my apartment remodeling is done I will have listened to his voice for at least one hundred hours), and while I've discovered I don't like all the books he's done, it's always the book and never his narration.

"Unscripted Love" is a fun story with likable characters but a little too much drama for me to love it rather then just like it. And there is a lot of banter. But I enjoyed it enough to want to listen to more books set in this story universe.
