Honestly, not nearly as good as his first.

I really liked his first book. So I was looking forward to his second book quite a bit. unfortunately it feels like you have heard most of it before. Maybe may fault and a little unfair, given that Pfeiffer lays out most of his views weekly on PSA. However, while listening I was constantly wondering what should be the takeaway. It reads more like a wishlist rather than a to-do list, given that most of it will most likely not happen. I would have appreciate a less gloomy more inspiring message, like in his first book. On top of that the audio quality is not great. If you haven't listened to his first book, start there.

Revealing the shocking state of the American democracy

This book provides shocking but very valuable insights into the dramatic state of the US democracy. As hard as it might be, especially when knowing the difficulties after having listened to the audiobook, we have to keep fighting for a more just system. People like Dan Pfeiffer give hope that it can work!
