The narrator was excellent! It seemed like different people were speaking for the various characters. She made the novel seem like a movie for me. Witemeyer has a gift of storytelling, including details so that the reader is able to easily imagine settings, costumes, action.

One Narrator, numerous distinct voices.

Karen Witemeyer has her own way of creating the whole scene before the inner eye of the reader (or listener). But it was the Story itself that made me realize so many things:
Humans are so quick to judge on what People have done or where they came from. But God has something better for everyone - grace and overwhelming love!
It made me realize that I was a stonecasting hypocrite so many times! God wants us to forgive and give second chances, just as he did with us! I was overwhelmed at all the emotions and conviction while listening.
I think I just found a new favorite book!

What I loved about this book compared to another author was that the main characters had a certain maturity to begin with and still evolved more, together, in a natural pace, without unnecessary drama.

wundervolle Geschichte über Vergebung und das es möglich ist durch das Lesen der Bibel sein Leben zum Positiven zu ändern. Interessant auch Levis Umgang mit seinem Defizit. Eden und Levi sind zwei tolle Charaktere, die sich gegenseitig heilen. Tolle Leserin.
