...and I listened to it at 1,2 speed. the story was well written and plausibly laid out. the MCs behaved within their characters. how ever I did not quite connect with them and until 60/70% they did not much interact. there was a lot of political talk instead I mean. a lot....a lot and I did not care about it. the H would approach the very vulnerable heroine without really committing to her or making his intentions clear. that irritated me. bc if you have no honorable Intention than stay away from her otherwise she would be - as he is very aware of - in a very precarious Situation. the heroine is one of those magnanimous self sacrificing martyr Types which I do not really like to read, that being said she was feisty and made her point when she wanted to , no wilting flower at least. be advised! very sloooowwww burn.
