Great to listen to, having worked as a nurse in Germany and Australia I could relate very well. I’ve met loads of medics from the UK there who’d left England for all those reasons. My heart goes out to anyone still working in the NHS and similar health systems around the world. I’m not anymore 😢

Heartbreaking and astonishingly funny real life story!

It was very interesting to get a behind the scenes look to what it’s like being a doctor for the nhs. There were bits that made me laugh, bits that made me feel disgusted or sad. This book is truly amazing and I couldn’t stop listening to it.

if you are a doctor, there is so much to relate to in this book. if you want to know about doctors' day to day life, this book is so realistic, most of the experiences actually sound familiar because I had similar ones or heard of them from other friends who also worked as doctors.

funny anectodes from a junior doctor giving insights into the NHS and the medical profession. as a med-student i found it very interesting and for lay persons interesting amd funny aswell.
i had a few instances laughing out loud while i was sitting in the bus. thanks fpr the great book and embarassement, Adam Kay.

Das Hörbuch hat mir sehr gefallen, ich habe selber in einem Hospital in England 20 Jahre lang gearbeitet und kann nur bestätigen, dass die Geschichten einen sehr traurig wahren Hintergrund haben.
