Things Left Unsaid is the first book in the pigeon creek series. It has everything a great small town romance needs - a great community, nosy neighbors and of course a beautifully written romance! I really liked the dynamics in the book. Zee is such a strong woman. I really like her. Colt is a great guy who takes care of the people depending on him. I love that after Zee asked him the right questions he saw the light and apologized. I loved even more that Zee didn't forgive him right away. It's not easy to portrait all these emotions and the internal struggle. It's done perfectly in Things Left Unsaid. That's the highest praise I can give because I'm normally not into slow burn. The narrators did an excellent Job as well. The performance was so great I couldn't stop listening!
