Am relevantesten
As the title says, this is probably the best book I read on Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. Its written more from a Viking perspective. And as with many historical non-fiction books, it can be challenging to follow when doing other stuff. But still, for me, this was the best of many books on this topic.

Great text, especially the more structure-, economy- and culture-regarding passages, though more of that would have been better. The reading is clear and in pleasant English accent but, unfortunately, much too monotonous. Almost every sentence sounds like every other, except for quotes.
