An interesting story , but a much over-used twist in the genre. Not recommended for those struggling with infertility.

....und überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack. Dieses ist das von mir am wenigsten gemochte Buch.
Wenn ich einen TF-Roman kaufe erwarte ich einen hirnerschütternden, herzzerreissenden, verstörenden und bewegenden Roman. Der "Oportunist" und "F*ck Love" gehören zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsbüchern.
"The Wives" ist ein Psychothriller, mit vielen Wendungen, Verirrungen, stellenweise sehr spannend und unvorhersehbar. Leider sind ähnliche Geschichte schon geschrieben worden. Das Buch ist eine Mischung aus "Girl on the Train", "Shutter Island" und "Gone Girl". War einfach nichts für mich. Hoffentlich findet TF wieder zurück...

Sprecherin sehr angenehm, Story spannend aber auch nichts neues - ab der Hälfte durchschaubar. Nichts für Menschen mit Trquma bzgl. Kinderlosigkeit.

i see a lot of reviews, saying the plot twist was cheep. but i think they missed the point. this is not just a shocking story. this is a glimpse into real humans psychic in certain conditions. so no the twists aren't cheep, they are reality checks. providing a new understanding and a reminder to have compassion.

Das einzig faszinierende an diesem Roman, ist die Tatsache, dass die Autorin es tatsächlich geschafft hat, einen völlig vorhersehbaren Plott, auf unvorstellbar dämliche Art und Weise doch noch dümmer Enden zu lassen als man es sich vorstellen konnte. RIP vergeudete Lebenszeit....
