This book is absolutely changing my life. And I don‘t mean this in an “oh this is so inspiring let me be excited about it while I’m reading and then forget all the lessons as soon as I’m done” kind of way. That‘s what happens with most books. For me, at least. No. This book is life-shifting in that having finished listening, I can already feel that I have started to grow, to be more honest with myself and others, to move towards integrity in a way I never knew how. And now that I’m done listening, instead of downloading the next audiobook, I will listen again. Martha Beck, you are the soul teacher I needed to get me out of almost constant duplicity into more and more integrity. Thank you for that. And to anyone who may read this review, if you feel stuck in your life in any way, unhappy with yourself, your relationships, the way things are going, give this book a try. I‘m sending you infinite love and strength, because while integrity isn‘t easy, it really is worth it. I have an inner peace now that gives me so much light and I can‘t express enough how grateful I am. And no, this doesn‘t mean I never get upset about anything anymore. On the contrary. I am learning to let myself feel, if feeling that thing is what’s going to lead me into integrity. 💜
