I really enjoyed the first half of the book, but it really fell apart more and more over time, and i did not enjoy the last third.
The writing got worse and i lost interest in the characters, plot and everything

All in all it’s a good story about women getting abonded by a society built and lead by men, and them defying said society and creating their own agency by defining themselves a-new. Loyalty and Friendships between the women and outcasts are well presented. However, i found the story rather cold and would have enjoyed a bit more warmth and a broader representation of feelings besides loyalty due to shared pain and fighting for the same cause.

Furthermore, it took me a while until i found myself intrigued by the story and the different narratives. I sometimes had difficulties remembering who is who, since asian names are foreign to me and because i didn’t listen to it very continuously…
