Ich hatte mich sehr auf Beth O'Learys neues Buch gefreut, muss aber leider sagen, dass ich etwas enttäuscht war. Die Charaketere waren zwar symapthisch, die Storyline aber komplett vorhersehbar und wenig berührend/vielseitig

I really liked this story. Even tough it is quite clear from the start what will happen, I felt deeply with the characters. It is so well written and read. Wonderfully comfortble and cozy. Loved every minute of it.

2.5 stars from me. Parts of the story were sweet and uplifting, but ... the whole sex/no strings delusion doesn't seem convincing. It seemed somewhat repetitive and made me think "oh come on, not another round of this, why don't you get it already?!" I know Izzy saw Lucas that way, or so she said, but he did seem rather irritating to me at times. Also - the speaker didn't do it for me, Lucas, that is. He sounded so gruff every time he said "Lucas", and his accent paired with the deep voice made it occasionally hard to understand what he was saying. Not enough inflection, either. Izzy was cool.

Ich mag alle Bücher von Beth O‘Leary aber dieses ist wirklich besonders gelungen! Noch nie habe ich meine Hausarbeit so gerne gemacht und dabei so herzhaft gelacht und gebangt wie in den Stunden, die dieses Hörbuch dauerte!
