It’s been three months since Andy Carter watched Ramsey do the unthinkable - he still has more questions than answers.
Haunted by that day, Carter must dig deep and complete a new mission. A mission that leaves him doubting his lost squad member. Sent back to relocate villagers and destroy their homes, the theories around Ramsey only deepen.
The squad makes their way to the ville where the Viet Cong presence is suspected, leading them directly into enemy crosshairs.
Despite struggles with a downed helicopter, enemy snipers, and a Viet Cong patrol, the men fight like their lives depend on it - because they do. They search the village despite one of their number making trouble, but none are prepared for what - or who - they find.
From war veteran turned author Glyn Haynie, The Ville is an authentically crafted novella, a fictional account of a mission ordered for a squad of soldiers in the Vietnam War. This mission is an accurate telling of the trust, respect, and acceptance that may or may not play out between the members of a squad when life and limb are on the line...
