Ensconced in keyboard martyrdom since the age of 7, after reluctantly beginning organ lessons to appease his father, keyboardist Dan Kenney would later go on to become the music director for Britney Spears at age 25 and tour worldwide from 1999-2002. A literal shedding of a religious mindset is at the core of this story as Dan's new gig finds him cultivating a fresh, unique perspective inspired by his new best friend, Britney's second keyboardist, Kid Vicious.
Dan's story easily transports you to the world of famous musicians, celebrities, tour buses, and personal struggle along his keyboard journey. The Unknown Keyboard Player chronicles his life as a musician from his first piano lesson all the way up to his tenure with the "Pop Princess." What ensues is the transformation of thinking, and also the transformation of purpose, as Dan finds himself wanting more.
