Although the narration starts of badly I got used to the reader and I would buy the currently still missing audiobooks 1-3. I enjoyed the grimdark plot a lot though Bakker seems to be reviewed rather controversial. So this saga might not be everybody’s cup of tea. I‘d suggest to check out some of the online reviews first, before jumping into the series. My biggest complaint is, that even though book 4 is available in the EU store, books 1-3 of the Aspect Emperor series are only available in US catalogue.
