The whole mention of Jesus and montheism (which Sueton neither knew or cared about) exposes this thing as heavily edited by later christian chroniclers or the editors of the publishing house. All the other things said here about augustus (he liked to play with little moors and syrians because of their "beauty" and told his nephew to respect the temple of Jerusalem) thus have to be taken with the outmost suspicion and precarious precaution as to the degree of their authenticity. All in all a good speaker but less christian censorship by snobish oxbridge anglican priest types would have been necessary.
