What if London’s heaviest man weighed absolutely nothing? In this brilliantly bizarre, darkly comedic tale by H.G. Wells, an annoyed gentleman named Formalyn is relentlessly badgered by Pyecraft - the most monstrously obese, insufferable clubman in London. Desperate to escape his massive size, Pyecraft begs for an ancient, secret recipe passed down by Formalyn’s Hindu great-grandmother. Reluctantly, Formalyn surrenders the strange formula, warning of its volatile nature. But the potion works with a terrifyingly literal, gravity-defying twist that leaves Pyecraft trapped in a situation so absurdly scandalous, it could ruin his reputation forever. Packed with Wells' trademark wit and an unforgettable mystery, this classic story explores the hilarious dangers of getting exactly what you wish for. Right now, Pyecraft sits in his usual chair, watching, waiting, and hiding a secret that defies the very laws of nature. Press play now and uncover the shocking truth about Pyecraft!
