Eine sehr schöne Fortsetzung. Jedoch gibt es komische Audio Glitches, die echt stören. Lauter und leiser werden, unsauber abgeschnittene Sätze usw.
Dazu kommt, das die Audioqualität auch echt zu wünschen übrig lässt. Dies ist schade, da ich den Sprecher ansonsten echt super finde!
Die Geschichte ist spannend und eine passende Fortsetzung. Ab und zu zieht sie sich etwas, dies hilft jedoch beim Worldbuilding. Wer also Geschichten wie GoT mag, der kommt hier auf seine Kosten!

A worthy end

While Blood Song might still be Anthony Ryan's best book (and I have read pretty much everything he has written), this is his best series. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys clever intrigue and politics, reluctant heroics by a flawed but very relatable main character and particularly towards the second half of this last book, a good dose of fantasy. The first book is more of a medieval drama with only glimpses at the supernatural while the last one is much more overt in this respect, but this also allows the story to be nicely closed and fully explained. Same as with Vaelin Al Sorna's tale though, I suspect we might learn more from Alwyn Scribe and his family in some offshoot asthere is another story hinted at but not told.

The book is just fine. The narator as well. But the SOUND is horrible. Sounds like Lars Ulrichs snare drums. sheesh.

Anthony Ryan, as always, delivers a thrilling story set in a world that leaves you guessing what secrets are still out there. The narrator fits the atmosphere perfect.
