It's midsummer's day, and 13-year-old Elle and her Leapling classmates are visiting the Museum of the Past, the Present and the Future. Nice concept but the narrator was extremely off-putting for me (purely subjective of course). The intonation, particularly at the end of sentences, was sometimes misleading and random, like she was reading the words but not really understanding the character’s intent.
