The narrator did a really great job bringing Tommy to life, his performance there was absolutely spot on. Unfortunately, the same can’t quite be said for the female voices.
In addition, the amount of screaming in the last third became a bit overwhelming and tiring on the ears.
I really love the books by Elias Witherow, and the story itself is strong as always. However, I think I might personally prefer experiencing his work in print rather than in audio form.
