In all honesty, I don't know, what I like more, the incredible voice of George Guidall or the character of infamous Mitch Rapp. It is good to have him back. Mitch is the knight in shining armor of our age. He is a patriot, through and through. He is honest, loyal and brave and has a deep sense of real justice. Most important of all, he does not care about etiquette or conventions. He does, what he thinks, has to be done, no hesitation, no restriction. He is a real "macho" in the very best way.

It is not that easy to come up with a new plot after Mitch Rapp already saved the world a couple of times, but Kyle Mills did a decent enough job, even Vince Flynn would have to admit that. The story is fast paced, full of surprising twists and turns and at times even plausible. It actually fits in quite well with the current developments on our globe.

Joe Rickman, a former top agent of the CIA, wants to take revenge on his former employer and steals a massive amount of highly classified documents to use it in the destruction of the CIA. The situation escalates quickly and the CIA's director, Irene Kennedy, is not only at risk to lose her job, she might even end up in jail. There is no other solution, Mitch has to take out the traitor and stop the leak of information. This task is a race against time. It takes Mitch from remote parts in Russia to the center of Taliban territory in Pakistan. Every day a new incriminating piece of information is leaked to the world, endangering the life of spies and collaborators and defaming the US government, but worst of all, a murderous political coup has to be prevented in time, because it would destabilize the whole world.

The book is fun and very entertaining. If you like Mitch Rapp, go for it.
