It's been a while since I listened to this book and though the story clearly had a lot of thought have put in to it, it's the atmosphere and pictures that stuck with me. They are very rich and lively and impressive. All that honey and the packed libraries, the snuggly nooks and mysterious doors, the dance and the intricate food is what sticks and what the soul can feed on. I love this book for that gift and see the characters and story as door openers this time but really as soon as you have emersed in the atmosphere, you just observe them from the corner of your eye and maybe that's a good thing because this way you get to fill the world with yourself. Thank you Erin! My heart owes you another world.
