CN for loads of booze. love the characters and setting. not quite solar punk, but works great as a future I'd want to live in..

Great escapism, fun mystery.

Though it meanders a bit at time. I also like seeing a married couple staying married and having little drama between them. Furthermore, I also appreciate the representation but as with absolutely everything, when you keep mentioning a known fact, it gets annoying. Not because it should be hidden but because the reader or listener is not dumb and doesn’t need to be reminded every couple of sentences.
Main reason I only have three stars is because the revelation in the end felt cheap and forced and didn’t make all that much sense. Had there been more indications of such skills or technology, maybe it would have been okay but this way it just felt a twist with very little behind it
