Perfect book combining romance and mystery
Loved the narrator and how she performed both female and male characters. Both the romance and the mystery built up nicely and the end had a lot twists that I enjoyed.

i regret it
the summary sounded promising but the whole story was just disappointing.
the shadow king didn't appear very mysterious or intimidating, more like a young lonely boy. for all the things he allegedly did he never appeared scary or anything like that. on one side conquering the world and chasing a "robin hood" like burglar and on the other side expressing his support on woman's rights...
and the MC of the story was not described well either, for the longest time i didn't even know what she looked liked and i had hoped they would go in a bit deeper in her past.
the world wasn't described very well too, i'd like to think i have a lot of imagination but apparently not enough for this book.
there were a few things which didn't really add up, i think it could have been much better if the author would have taken more care of some details here and there.

Great story with many twists
The characters are charming, the story individual, and the twists sligthly forseeable but at the same time wonderfull written and read.

Unerwartet
Die Geschichte gefiel mir besonders gut weil nicht der Standard an Werten in der Hauptfigur vertreten werden sie weiß was sie will und sie holt es sich egal sie im Großen und Ganzen eine sehr schöne Abwechslung zum Durchschnitt Fantasy Buch letzter Zeit und sonst auch sehr spannend und lustig

Light fiction for horny housewifes
I have seldomly been this disappointed in a book. Cringeworthy is the only word that comes to my mind.
I advise you save yourselves the money, time and disappointment.
