When professional soccer player Alex Grey goes on a vacation to the local South Carolina islands, she isn't anticipating any life-changing events. Just a relaxing weekend to prepare for the upcoming season. A wonderfull dramatic slow burn love story you can‘t put down
I started this book because of all the positive feedback but I did!‘t expected this book to be as dramatic as it was.
There were definitely moments that kept me on the edge, all they way to the end…you just don’t know what might happens next. Especially since I didn‘t know there was a 2nd book.
I promise you, once you in it, you won‘t be able to put it down I loved the the slow burn and and easily fell in love with the main and side characters. Except Carlton of course. Nobody likes Carlton.
Abby Craden was the perfect Narrator for this story and I can‘t wait to start the next book to continue this story.

What a beautiful drama. My favorite story 🤍
The story is absolutely fenomenal and beautifully written. A soccer star in an almost impossible love story with a politician's wife? Their journey is heartbreakingly breathtaking. Looking forward to the next book.
Also, Abby Craden is the perfect narrator for this English American Drama.
Definitely a must hear and read!

Not recommended
I was bored 75% of the time listening. Before this book i thought Abby Craden could read anything to me and make it worthwhile but not even she could save this.
