Über diesen Titel

I've spent the last two years playing the deadliest game of hide and seek.

My tormentor knows no bounds, and I'm done being his prey. In another new city, I'm hoping this is the place where I finally find peace and those parts of myself I've lost along the way. New name, new hair, new clothes…new me. I'm determined for it to stick this time, desperate for a quiet existence to escape the horrors chasing me. The last thing I expect to find is more of what I'm running from.

Violence. Murder. Manipulation.

Except here, three dangerous men have me in their sights. Instead of wanting to clip my wings and keep me in a gilded cage, they're offering me something I have long forgotten—Freedom.

When trouble comes calling, and nightmares crawl out of shadows... Don't you want the biggest monsters on your side?

The Secrets We Keep is a dark reverse harem romance duet intended for mature listeners.

I stopped on book 1, chapter 8. Everything was going fine until chapter 8. All events are cliche, convenient and lame.
The female protagonist is so "traumatized" and "afraid" of men but has no problem about having intercourse with literally strangers and one of them he doesn't even know his name (elevator scene). The dialogues are pathetic, the kind of thing a housewife with a frustrating sex life would love to listen.
I know not everything in a book has to seem real or reasonable but this was too much for me, sometimes we need a certain suspension of beliefs to enjoy the story but this book literally told me I'm an idiot, as a listener.

I wasted my time!
