Das Buch ist eines der schönsten von Eva Ibbotson. Hier ist es nun auch noch wirklich angenehm und schön gelesen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Einfach zum wohlfühlen

Solange Davina Porter liest, höre ich mit großem Vergnügen zu!

Auch wenn die Geschichte etwas vorhersehbar ist. Halt ein typischer Frauen-Historienroman. Unterhaltsam, mit wunderschönen Beschreibungen wie einst alte englische Herrenhaus funktionierte, aber viel Teifgang sollte man nicht erwarten. Aber dafür hört man solche Bücher auch nicht.
