This book should be mandatory in high school. Maybe the language ist a little bit offensive, but the essence and the message is so pure and simple and so on point. be nice.

I actually got this one in German a while back and went through it again in English just now... I suggest to go with the original version, but the translated one is just as great.

Now if you a faithfull Christian (even a Catholic)... don't get into this masterpiece ... Or do and reflect on it.

To cut it short this Book brings it straight to the point "why can every one not just be nice?"

A very entertaining book. Highly enjoyable story. Rude language. After the hilarious start the story gets a very unsuspected serious touch with a simple message: be nice! Highly recommended! One of my favourite books so far.

Of course this book will be controversial. However, if you ignore different religious points of view (and the cussing in every sentence), the book is definitely worth reading. How would it be if Jesus came back to earth in today's world? Great story, good humour. I'd carefully recommend it - with a little disclaimer. But the big message of this book is "Be nice". How can that be wrong?

Overall it feels like a harsh reality check on our current society, finally drawing images what is brought to us so abstract in media all the time. This story shifts perspectives on topics we all have hardened up opinions over the last years, probably without even ever really giving it a second thought. Everyone - bare thought the tough chapters, I don’t know how many time I had tears in my eyes or questioned if I even should continue listening … and damn I’d miss out

The story telling make you feel like it actually all happened like it’s written down.
