„The Runic Artist" von Ellake ist genau das, was LitRPG-Fans brauchen: ein kreativer Protagonist, ein einzigartiges Magiesystem und Charaktere, die wirklich lebendig wirken und einen von der ersten Seite an nicht mehr loslassen.

Was die Serie besonders macht, ist das Zusammenspiel von Kunst und Macht. „Life Imitates Art" ist eine der schönsten Fähigkeiten im Genre – und wird mit der Zeit herrlich übermächtig. Die Figurenkonstellation aus dem analytischen Nate, seiner hitzköpfigen Kampfgefährtin und dem sarkastischen Goblin-Begleiter sorgt für eine unterhaltsame, harmonische Dynamik.

Trotz der Mächtigkeit der Charakter bekommt man nicht das Gefühl, dass sie overpowered sind.

Wer einmal in die Geschichte eintaucht, kann sich nur schwer davon losreißen – Ellake versteht es meisterhaft, die Leser mit ständigen Wendungen bei der Stange zu halten.

und auch die beiden Sprecher machen einen exzellenten Job.

most Informations are gives 3 times or more within a few chapter. its a bit annoying. many words and inner monologs, without much progress. So its to slow for my taste.
the MC is also a bit to stupid and whinny for my likings.
the few combats are okayish, but a bit to much Info about skills and again the inner monologs.. it cuts the flow of combat.

Story, Class, Skills are good, tho. So 3 Stars are fitting. the first book was better and its understandable to give Info and know how.. but in this book several times stats sheet listening for each 4+ minutes... is just tooo much.
