all in all it is an great addition to the series. BUT afer so lung i am still no fan of Zack and his storyline is not quite to my taste. (still good wrighting though)

great book again

there is atleast useless repeating drama content around 8h or even more. its not useful to tell the Reader or Listener 10 Times the same stuff about those SCs. same whole charters can be skipped without missin anything related to the Story.

NOTE to the Autor: Nexttime please skip 8h and stop annoyin the Customer.

Firstly, I love this series. I was so sad to see this is the penultimate book. Have listened to the other books 4 times. Every aspect of the series is written in such a great depth that a lot is only noticed in 2nd or 3rd listen throughs. Phil does a phenomenal job as always. I wasn’t really on board with the direction the series took in the 3rd book but it was done so well that I got on board. But now? This direction is weird. Takes away so much that makes the rest almost pointless. Ryuns genius isn’t even a thing now because everyone is suddenly super powerful. He’s not even Ryun when fighting half the time. He’s just the reaper which sure is cool but his uniqueness is gone more or less. Zack, while a good man, is still naive and an absolute loser even though he’s 1000s of years old. Training the kids seems pointless to listen to as we now know the series is almost done. Plus they act like kids still even though they’re like 40 ish. There’s contradictions in characters opinions and actions. And dude. As always. No one cares about listening to the “bad guys” perspective. There’s way more of that here than usual even. Find myself detached from most characters now. Even Ryuns chapters are mostly boring and I don’t care about them a lot. And then there’s the ridiculous amount of drama… I’m sorry Ivan. I don’t get what the plan was to take the series in such a way. I’ve struggled so so much to listen and still haven’t even finished because every time I try and listen I just get annoyed about how shit everything is. I could go in depth far more on these opinions but yea. Perhaps I’m too harsh but it’s how I feel as a massive fan of what came before (except zachs lame shit).

der Power creep nervt und viel Bla bla um nichts. Die uninteressanten Dinge werden umfassend umschrieben, und so viel Bla bla um advancement... und anderes bleibt vollkommen auf der Strecke. in 37h nicht eine Überraschung... es wird unnötig Spannung versucht aufzubauen für ein viel zu lang hinausgezogenes Finale mit vorhersehbarem Ende

I really love these searies and have listen to the other books 3 times. This book kind of felt like a reset and i don't like the story direction. It trivialises a lot of the things that came before to ad new things. There is also a timeskip between the books that left out a lot of things.
