Finally a book where the romance isn’t overdone and the lead isn’t shared between six guys! very hard to find these days. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, the adventure and relationships between the group and how they grow up are in focus. This felt like it could be a Hollywood-level series. Great narrator and great writing. I liked all characters and how they developed. All books were interesting from the beginning to the end. One theme across the books sadly is however that the hints given for the plot are way too obvious… Spoiler Warning: The prophecy was way too obvious, we all knew Saf was gonna be Dylans partner, maybe that part of the prophecy shouldn’t have existed and they just decided to become partners because they are so close instead. “Should we hide the killed guard? No it doesn’t matter.” also way too obvious… Then i was also annoyed by how easy dylan stopped the war. It should have been Dylan finding the strength in her and not her being possessed by somebody else. Just my 2 cents. More books like this please , a must listen 🫶🏻
