Solid grimdark medieval fantasy

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Dieses Buch macht so viel richtig, und trotzdem bleibt es für mich vom Inhalt her leider bei 3 1/2 Sternen stecken. Die Charaktere sind alle gut und interessant, aber die Geschichte fühlt sich manchmal so an als würde sie im Treibsand stecken. Es bewegt sich was, aber es passiert nichts und irgendwie kommt sie nicht voran. Was mir ebenfalls nicht gefallen hat ist das man die ersten Stunden keine Erklärung für nichts bekommt und sich alle Dinge zusammen reimen muss. Wer gerne zuhört wie sich eine Kompanie Ritter mit (vereinfacht gesagt) Orks und Drachen rumkloppt und dabei Magie einsetzt ist hier richtig. Ach ja - Die Mischung aus christlichem - griechischem Glauben gewürzt mit ein bisschen Alchemie fand ich irritierend. Wenn man schon eine Fantasie Welt "erdenkt" kann diese auch seine eigenen Gottheiten haben ;)

Das Hörbuch ist aber auf jeden Fall einen Versuch Wert, der Leser ist vorzüglich! Mein Fall war es allerdings nicht...
