Haben Sie die Zeit genossen, in der Sie dieses Hörbuch gehört haben? Warum oder warum nicht?

Sehr oberflächlich, aber sehr persönlich. Sie zeigt wer sie wirklich war, oder wer sie gerne gewesen wäre - aber auch, dass sie vieles nicht gerne gewesen ist! Viele Wiederholungen, Ausflüchte, Widersprüche und Entschuldigungen! Die Affäre ist sehr ausführlich beschrieben und ich habe mich oft unwohl dabei gefühlt! Sie spricht über so viele Personen zu deren Lebzeiten - das hätte man mit mehr Gefühl machen können! Sie sagt zwar "better out than in", aber muss man das wirklich alles wissen? Ich denke nicht. Außerdem ist gut die Hälfte des Buchs "Affäre" und nur ein Bruchteil Star Wars. Hätte mir mehr Eindrücke zu den Drehs gewünscht oder ihre Beziehung zu den anderen Darstellern.

Was hätte Carrie Fisher anders machen müssen, damit Sie das Hörbuch mehr genossen hätten?

Sie hat geschrieben, was sie für richtig empfunden hat - es war nur nicht mein Geschmack. Jedem das seine.

Authentisch, laut und persönlich

Aus bekannten Gründen nicht möglich! Außerdem sollte man Geschichten auch ruhen lassen (können).

Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?

Den Inhalt kann man in unter einer Minute zusammenfassen - bzw. ist bereits bekannt. Aber wer Carrie Fisher gerne zuhört wird seine Freude haben, denn sie macht keine Abstriche beim Vorlesen (wie bei Ihren anderen Hörbüchern auch). Ihre Tochter Billy liest im Mittelteil Auszüge aus den tatsächlichen Tagebüchern vor.
