Like the story, hate the performer
The various voices done in this audiobook are super annoying, it is hard for me to keep listening even though I’m interested in the story

Ich fand den Spannundbogen eher enttäuschend und einige Dinge wurden sehr übereilt. Ich werde das nächste Buch nicht nehmen...

MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME
I love the poppy war trilogy so much it hurts
all the characters are amazing

Confusing
It is hard to follow the story line when there are so many names and they sometimes sound the same.
I do not understand the main character's reasons for her actions. And also this story is quite brutal.
Just not my type of book.

terribile, terribile book
oh my God is this book terrible.
I didn't manage to finish it because it's a strange mixture of Harry Potter, Divergent and maybe some other adult series I don't know, but set in medieval China, so that everything, EVERYTHING feels absolutely fake.
The reader does her best, but you can't do much with a book whose ridiculous premise is that the future generals of the Empire are selected not because of their military prowess but through a test where the biggest part is literature.
Don't make my same mistake: don't waste your money on this
