The poison belt is a rather short Professor Challenger story, and not the most exciting. This audio book also contains the two Prof. Challenger short stories. That was the main reason for choosing this version. At the time of purchase it was the only possibility to listen to them too.
At the beginning I didn't like the narrator, but I got used to him. Also in the beginning I had the feeling the narrative was interrupted by pauses. Pauses you wouldn't make while reading or speaking, more like two audio files were merged together. It stoped after a while.
