Holly’s progress is monitored by an assigned contact that feeds her information as she confronts the blank, robotic world around her, discovering that others view life through the theme of their own choosing.
With her newly implanted combat and deduction skills, Holly fends off both attacks by terrorists and doubts about her own trustworthiness as clues lead her to her Original - and to the truth about Jonathan. In the end, one body remains and one walks away. Although questions persist, one thing is certain: Life will never be the same.

More movie than book, but great!
ich really enjoyed "The Original". The story and world was captivating and felt much greater than we saw in this short glimpse we got here. I also really enjoyed the narration which made the story more like a film than other audiobooks.

Spannende Geschichte großartig erzählt

Sophisticated
Loved this atmospheric production style and excellent performance! J. W. of course did a great job. The story is intelligent and kind of prophetic, eerily. Top choice!

Nachwirkung Permanent
Vor Jahren einmal gehört.
Noch immer muss ich an diese Geschichte Denken.
Absoluter Wahnsinn.

Too short, with sound effects
This audiobook utilizes sound effects, music and voice effects - none of which are mentioned and they are not welcome (they don’t enhance the experience much of at all but make listening harder).
The audio book is quite short.
The story is ok, but nothing to write home about.
