Nelson ignores this, even when the owner's suicide note includes the line, 'He's buried in the garden.' Ruth excavates and finds the body of a giant dog.

All roads lead back to this farm in the middle of nowhere, but the place spells serious danger for anyone who goes near. Ruth doesn't scare easily. Not until she finds herself at Black Dog Farm ...

Even though some books weren't exactly my cup of tea, the whole series is simply amazing. This volume is another incredible book, exciting, spiritual, interesting, well phrased, well read... but seriously... you can't leave us in limbofor a full year after the closing scene of this book... that cruelty to listeners/readers!

The best in a good series

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
I could listen to Jane McDowell’s reading forever. Unfortunately this for now is the latest novel about Ruth Galloway and DCI Nelson and I’ve gigten quite fond of them. I hope a sequel will soon come!!

About the story, which of course involves both Ruth and Nelson I can’t really tell so much without giving spoilers. So I give it 5 stars and hope you will read it or listen to it - in this case even better, but make sure you get Jane McDowell as a speaker.
I will impatiently wait for the next one.
