This is one of my favourite Agatha Christie mysteries, and I loved listening to it again. I am usually fond of Hugh Fraser's reading, but this particular time I was a little disappointed. Almost all of the women he is portraying in this book sound the same, weak and frail, which is particularly disappointing for M.D. (initials of a character, won't spoil them for you). It's a pity, because it makes it much harder for me to be immersed in the story.

Once again a great detective story by the Queen of crime. Listening to this novel I understand why Agatha Christie disliked Hastings. His acts are extremely foolish, nevertheless Poirot manages to solve this crime with a link to the past.
