I have heard about Vietnam war a lot, but only from war, political and military side. That is mostly what people and media talk about. This author shows us how people - especially women - lived, suffered, resisted, tried again, loved their families and build their life when the world was collapsing.
A great story written in a very beautiful way. 💕

Ich wünschte, die Geschichte wäre nicht zu Ende. Am liebsten möchte ich gleich nach Vietnam reisen und all die Köstlichkeiten probieren, die während des Buches zubereitet wurde. Auch hat mich der historische Hintergrund sehr fasziniert. Die Sprecherin ist toll. Das Englisch gut zu verstehen. Ganz klare Empfehlung.
