I’m not really sure what I expected from Haig‘s latest book after having loved The Midnight Library so much. This one felt a bit forced to me and I found it increasingly difficult to route for Wilbur. But maybe that’s because it hit a little too close to home.
Matt Haig will remain my favourite author, but this will not be my favourite book of his.
James Norton is a brilliant narrator and I hope he does more audiobooks.
