A driven young grad student begins using her true crime podcast to help save her missing best friend, and she soon finds herself leading a small team of crime solvers to uncover local truths that are eluding the police.
Mercy is joined by her treasured mentor, cop-turned-criminology professor Mark Thoreau, by absurdly affable Post reporter Tohru Iwasaki, and by celebrity trans Youtuber Chizzy Williams in her search for the hard truths. It's amazing what a team of the right people can do, even under the worst of circumstances.
