Look I feel I owe it to the book to review it. I read a lot of negativ Reviews for this book and just want to say it's a type thing if you like it or not. It is very well written, complex and with a lot of wieldy words (not for everyone again) But this trilogy has impacted me very much. Yes the main character is a tad unlikeble for most people (not for me but I get were people are coming from) But they are so on purpose to give them space to grow character acts are top notch in the trilogy and the second book is by far the best. I will admit that the 1rst book had pacing issues. The second book does it way better. You could also say that the first book feels like a gloomy Harry Potter / Narnia Fan fiction but from the second book on it really becomes it's own story.
So my hint. If you made it through the first book defenetly pick up the other two it just gets better.

since it's not so much a known story with new detail. but more like a complete new universe born with illimited options and great character development. love it.
