Molly Cook is almost 30, with dismal career prospects, and has given up on saving the world. Molly decides to give a PhD a whirl but finds herself more interested in campus politics...and her strict and sexy statistics professor.

Professor Carmen Vaughn is stuck in small-town Maryland with smarmy blowhards for colleagues and ungrateful students who can't handle her high standards. She has no intention of coming out, least of all to Molly, a troublemaking grad student who can't stop picking fights with the conservative faculty.

But when Molly discovers evidence implicating a homophobic colleague in a scandal, Carmen can't ignore it - even if the subject hits too close to home. As the two women work together to make their case, they grow closer than Carmen ever imagined. But she absolutely refuses to get involved with a student.

The thing is, as the chemistry builds between them, Molly isn't sure she wants to be a grad student anymore...if she ever did.

This 90`s book hab me hooked. I loved the Storyline and the diversity of the characters. It had a nice pace with themes like workplace, professor/student. I enjoyed listening to this one very much.

Narration: This Audiobook is narrated by Lori Prince. She, like always, does a fantastic job.

It is good typical book for this Genre. I espially like the depth if Charakter and how you slowly get to know them as they get to know them selves. I like that they woven some politically issues into the plot. It give the book more depth than just a Romanze would. I also like how this was done as it is just suddly part of the story rather than overbareing as it can sometimes be in these book.

Ich mag dieses Buch wirklich sehr. Die Charaktere sind nachvollziehbar und tiefgründig. Eine schöne Story mit ein bisschen Politik dazu, was ich zwar nich soo mag aber das hat mich hier jetzt nicht sonderlich gestört. Im Gegenteil, ich fand es interessanter als ich zuerst dachte.

Lori hat ihren Job auch wieder super gemacht👌🏻
