This is perfect if you are nostalgic like me and want to dive back into the world of the Folk - this time following Taryn who tells her and Locke's love story. At least part of it. I loved the dynamic between the two sisters, evident in how Taryn's narration addresses Jude, sometimes angry, sometimes desperate for understanding. I loved how Locke worms his way into your heart just to toy with it. If only the whole thing had been a little longer. I would have liked to stay with Taryn a little more, after the marriage and see their relationship unravel. I guess she already lets us glimpse at that part of her life in book three, but I wouldn't have minded to hear it again.
