This audio book helped me to understand the world of the New Testament in way I have not understood it before! It’s fictional but still historical based and getting some people who are mentioned in the New Testament to pop up in this was exciting! My biggest takeaway was that in the first century there was no such thing as secular! Everything had a religious dimension!

I definitely recommend this to every Christian and history nerd who is interested in the first century ad!
