I did really enjoy this book and hence already bought the second book. I will start with it directly and am happy to have such a beautiful story to keep me busy :)

Just remove the background music and this would be a full 4 stars. The world building is amazing, the characters are complex and interesting and the journey is adventurous. Amazing book for space opera lovers! For me it isn't a 5 stars just because sometimes it has too much of an episodic quality to it and I prefer my sci-fi somewhat darker, but this is just personal taste. Recommended especially for those who like firefly and good queer rep.

Not only do they try to convey sounds of a spaceship, there is some nonsensical musical whatever stuff which just distorts listening experience. Quite horrible
