In 1913, the Peace Palace was founded in the Netherlands with the hope of preventing future wars by providing peaceful resolutions to disputes between conflicting countries.
In M.H. Sargent’s latest suspense thriller, the iconic building’s basement is used by FROG—an independent covert intelligence agency that no one knows exists. Their mission is simple—stop evil perpetrators before they can wreak havoc on the world. If assassination is the only viable option, use it.
A British man calling himself “Matthew” correctly warns FROG about a suicide bomber in Tel Aviv. Next, he warns of a coming apocalypse that will kill millions of people worldwide. To learn more, FROG operative Adam Patterson is sent to meet Matthew at an Amsterdam café. Needless to say, Adam thinks the man’s proclamations are ridiculously farfetched.
That is until Matthew is killed minutes before their scheduled meeting.
As Adam and FROG’s elite team of agents race to find out who Matthew was, and what he knew, someone is always one step ahead, and each time they get closer to finding the answer, more people end up getting killed.
Because Matthew was right—there really is a diabolical plan in motion that will wipe out much of the world’s population.
