We all crave for a simpler world and love romantic stories of people living in a moment, in the wild, aligned with nature. Sure. This book takes this craving and capitalises on it by presenting "lessons of life" formed in maximally vague yet seemingly meaningful shape, such as "I don’t know where we’re going, but I know exactly how to get there.", "Follow the track, not the animal.", "The next track is the only one that matters.".

Anyone reading those will fill them with their own meaning; they can't be tested or evaluated; they can't be argued against; they can fit any context, narrative, business situation, etc. You can sound like a guru when you speak like that - and author and many other people do - and get tons of money doing this. But I get it, people will read the book because of the romantic story, and will feel this warm yearning for a different life, will adore the author and listen to those meaningless phrases as if there is any meaning in them. What a waste of time!
