Für mich nach „The Midnight Library” die beste Geschichte von Matt Haig. Interessante Erzählung und tolle Charaktere. Regt zum Nachdenken an und hinterlässt ein gutes und zufriedenes Gefühl. Rundum gut gelungen! Auch die Erzählerin hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Einfach perfekt!

Die Sprecherin vermag es, die unterschiedlichen Charaktere anhand ihres Akzentes perfekt zu differenzieren. Es ist ein sehr angenehmes Sprechtempo und gut verständlich.
Die Geschichte ist typisch für Matt Haig, sie berührt alle essentiellen Fragen des Lebens, vermischt mit fantastischen Elementen, ohne zu sehr ins Kitschige abzurutschen.
Außerdem bekommt man ein sehr schönes Bild von Ibiza und seiner Geschichte.

I have read every single book of Haig’s since 2010. You do not simply read his books, you go on a journey. Unfortunately this particular journey felt tedious for me.
Not because of the fantastical element (which I loved) or the main character (I grew quite fond of Grace), I just simply couldn’t get into the setting. I guess Ibiza is just not my cup of tea.

Patsy Stone, I mean Joanna Lumley is absolulety divine, I adore her voice and cadence.
