This is a beautiful story about grief with what feels like an authentic representation of Eastern European families. I had some teary eyes at several points in the story because of both the good writing as well as the great performance by Aliona Baranova. What I especially like about the narration is that Aliona comes from a similar background as the main character and thus everything sounds so natural (no shitty Russian accents here!). I hope we'll get to hear her in more audiobooks in the future.

Beautiful story with a great narrator
