Its nice to see Richter surviving even the biggest odds and that he made it to a tier-2 human. Especially the dialogs with Nexus and the mind battle with the flying rat (imp) was enjoyable.

But I would really prefer that in the next part there is less stats and skill talk, especially if the skill description was already provided. This is slowing down the story and just helps the author to add some more minutes to the audiobook, by not providing any meaningful content.

I personally liked the stories of the other parts more. Fighting only 2-3 big monsters is not enough and does not add any value to the story! Nevertheless, the end looks promising and I am looking forward to the next part.

My wish for the next part: Please less skill and stats talk, more story! Thanks!

this is something else....
the 8th volume of this otherwise great series really takes the wind out of the sails.
if you liked the interactions between Richter and others.... you'll hate this one.
if you liked his personal progression, you'll hate this one.
if you like action and story progression, you'll hate this one.
but if you like watching someone assembling a car while explaining how every single miscellaneous works... you'll probably like this.
in this book, the author decided to explain every mechanic very detailed. Not just new mechanics but also the old ones. it was a chore to get through it, and since the titles of the chapters are dates instead of numbers or proper names you have no idea where you nodded off amidst all these boring explanations.

I'm still looking forward for the next volume. But this episode has really put a damper on my enthusiasm.

I love this series, but this one is just not as good as the ones before. There's nothing really happening besides some leveling and stuff. Some things are just unnecessarily long and you want to skip them (Richter shitting himself could've been handled in a page or two. Seriously.)
If you're reading this Aleron: Please take a break if you're not feeling up for writing a sequel. Or maybe write another book if the inspiration doesn't strike. I hope the next one is similar to the masterworks you wrote before, even if it takes a longer time.

A bit to mutch reversing of the Effekt of the Different stats, and capter 37 is realy Not nesseary its just vial and Bad. The Rest is good and entertaining. I realy await the next one.

Speaker is as always great. However, the story is missing. It feels like the book is only about the various points to distribute and how to enhance the skills of Richter. Very disappointing.

i love this book series but this book was just sad.
basicaly nothing happens that the first page of the next book won't catch you up on.

and now i'm siting here thinking about what else to write in this review but there is just nothing to write about.

it can be summed up like this "he walked a bit and fougth some monsters" and thats it next book

This series was lacking from the beginning but I became hopeful by the progress Aleron made in his past books. This one was not up to scratch at all though. Including his endless poem about poop there was nearly no story and not much character development in this story with more than 50% the reading of status messages, stats and skills. The actual story would have fitted in a thousand word essay with space for a good narrative to spare. I will probably continue listening to this series just out of a morbid curiosity.
